Intensive Overview

Team intensives provide an unparalleled opportunity for team members to build deep self-awareness and new awareness about each other - forming much deeper connections in the process.

We provide safe and confidential space for members to explore the ways that their own thoughts, ego stories and internalized ideas may cause them to “perform” with each other - as versus being honest about what they’re actually feeling and thinking. The team will explore two core questions with each other:

  • What happens when I’m truly honest with myself?

  • What happens when we’re honest with each other?

We don’t just reflect on these questions, our professional actors create a multi-day simulation where team members will take turns playing the “leader,” and they can actively experiment with what it feels like to get out of their heads and lead from their hearts.

Over multiple days of stepping in and out of our simulation and building awareness about how we perform for each other, teams will gain new opportunities to break through old patterns or “walls” that were keeping members from being honest with each other - and form deeper, more meaningful relationships in the process.

How does it work?

We talk with participating team members in advance to learn about them and their current experience. During the intensive, after we get grounded in what we’re going to be exploring together, we introduce the team to our simulation by presenting participants with full context of their (fictional) “new organization” and current challenge. Our team of professional actors then bring that parallel universe to life and the simulation unfolds in real-time as participants take turns playing the role of the leader. We will start and end each day stepping out of the simulation in order to reflect and gain awareness of what’s happening inside our heads and hearts, and how it’s impacting the team and our leadership.

How long is the Team Intensive?

Organizations can select Team Intensives that are 2 days, 3 days, or 4 days. Since the Team Intensive is intended to form the foundation of a team’s formation or “reset” and can be the catalyst for significant organizational change, we strongly recommend 3 - or ideally, 4 - days in which go deep with teams and surface dynamics that may otherwise take months or years to address (if at all). For teams that simply cannot commit the time for a 3 or 4 day intensive, 2 days will fully introduce the concepts of authentic leadership and start a team journey that can lead to significant growth.

Team Intensives can be held virtually (over Zoom) or can be held in-person (at your organization’s offices).

What are the dates?

We will work with you to find a date range that works with the members of your team.

Booking Process

If you are interested in booking a team intensive and someone from your organization has attended an intensive with us before, please email Kevin with a few options for your preferred date range.

If no one from your organization has attended an intensive with us yet, we would love to talk with you a bit and share a bit more about the intensive experience. Please set-up a short meeting with Kevin so we can get to know you a bit before booking your team intensive.
